What is Actein Granules 200mg used for?

Actein Granules 200mg is used as a mucolytic agent in respiratory conditions associated with excessive mucus production.

When should you not take this medicine?

Do not use it if you had an allergic reaction to acetylcysteine or to any of the excipients.

Children under 6 years of age.

How do I take Actein Granules 200mg sachet?

Adults and children above 6 years: Acute treatment: 1 sachet, two to three times daily.

Dissolve the granules in about half a glass of water, avoid the addition of drugs to the solution, take it before or after meals.

The duration of treatment should be 5 to 10 days. If you do not feel better or if you feel worse, you must talk to a doctor.
